Simple Saturday Supper

I had a real craving for some garlicky prawns on Saturday night so I broke out a small terracotta dish and started chopping!

The recipe was dead simple, two large plump cloves of garlic chopped, about 75g of chopped Chorizo Picante, lots of olive oil, prawns and a pinch of smoked Paprika.

I put the oil in a pan on a medium heat. And let the chorizo cook for a minute or so to let it release some of its lovely smoky flavour, then added the prawns and garlic and cooked for a few more minutes. You have to take care not to over cook the garlic as it will burn and taste bitter.

Then it was out onto the table with some great bread to mop up the garlicky smokey salty oil and maybe a squeeze of lemon.
